TUBE MASTER COMPRESSOR

The Tube Master Compressor is a totally hand built unit of the absolute highest quality providing the ultimate in professional standards available today. Designed for recording, mixing and mastering, it’s principle of construction is based upon the classic compressor like the Fairchild 660/670 and, like these classics units, the Tube Master Compressor delivers the same unmistakable smooth, natural yet amazingly effective limiting and compression.

THE TUBE MASTER VCA has a pure class-A operating push-pull stage. By using matched quartets of tubes, the symmetrical construction’s incredibly simple and short signal flow insures minimum distortion and the highest quality sound. The input and output transformers are built on two separate coils delicately hand wound over a MU-metal core. This structure combination provides an extremely high bandwidth and dynamic range with the highest impulse characteristics. The 20 position switches with GOLD PLATED contacts are wired with precision resistors to give accurate gain and threshold settings in 0,5 dB increments. The power supply uses a tube rectifier for the high voltage to soft-start up the unit. Separate stabilizers for the heaters and high voltage for both channels are provided and the main transformer is externally placed to avoid noise radiation to the electronics.
